Ionising air nozzles provide a shower of ionised air to remove electrostatic charges and/or clean parts and components. The Valstat® IN 10 ionising air nozzle has ionising (ionizing) electrodes positioned in the air flow path, which convert ordinary compressed air into an ionised air shower.

Ionising air nozzles provide a shower of ionised air to remove electrostatic charges and/or clean parts and components. The Valstat® IN 10 ionising air nozzle has ionising (ionizing) electrodes positioned in the air flow path, which convert ordinary compressed air into an ionised air shower. Positive and negative ions in the shower of air effectively neutralize electrostatic charges on the target and the air shower also cleans the target. This is useful in applications where sheets, bottles, containers, components made of plastic or paper are manufactured or processed. The Valstat® IN 10 G ionising air gun is also offered by Valence; the IN 10 G is a combination of an air gun and an ionising air nozzle. Electrical input to Valstat® ionising nozzle and air guns is from a Valstat® PS 70 R power source. Air inlet is to be provided from the shop floor compressed air source.
